Materials - AO, SIN, SC

n      Premium Aluminum Oxide (PAO), 99.5% Pure

         High purity, fine grain Aluminum Oxide used successfully in a wide variety of applications including the forming zone, low vacuum and high vacuum applications. PAO has given many years of service and is the best performer for the cost.

n      Silicon Nitride (SiN)

         Material exhibits beneficial drag coefficients and is very gentle to forming fabrics. Commonly used in twin wire forming, hivacs, and all press applications. Has excellent resistance to thermal shock.

n      Silicon Carbide (SC)

         Used in demanding applications where maintaining blade profile is crucial. Extremely hard material that has excellent toughness characteristics. Commonly used in multiple wire formers.
